Responsibilities:Â Â
Our fully remote Digital Director will be responsible for a multitude of social media and digital activities, specifically with political, advocacy, and corporate clients across owned, earned, paid, and amplified channels. These activities will span social media and digital advertising channels, as well as guide strategy, support new business as needed, mentor team members, and deliver against campaign objectives. We are seeking a motivated individual, that is passionate about digital advocacy, to join our fast-growing digital team, and who keeps with industry trends and evolutions. Â
This position will need to serve clients across the political spectrum. However, ideal candidates will have worked in or are familiar with Republican politics, in order to service our existing and growing bench of clients. Â
- Social media and digital strategyÂ
- Manage digital team direct reportsÂ
- New business support, as needed, including research and proposal writing Â
- Programmatic social and digital advertising (in-house), including strategy for channel and audience selection, creative guidance, set up and management of ad campaigns, as well as optimizations and metrics reporting Â
- Deep analytics experience, providing tangible results in the form of social, web, email, and ad metrics to clients
- Database management experience a plus
- Political or public policy content development
- Analyze political and public policy digital media content
- Understanding and ability to evaluate social media political and policy content including positive, negative, and neutral sentiment
- Content planning and development, including ads, social media copy, web copy, email copy, as needed
- Social monitoring and listening, as needed
- Social media community management
- Website management
- Email strategy and execution
- Report directly into and support the VP of digital
- Ability to respond and present oneself in a professional and timely manner
- Create, manage and meet project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Assist with virtual events
- Offer creative ideas to meet client objectives
- Consistently strive to increase knowledge of the public relations and public affairs field, as well as our client’s business
- Communicate effectively across all written and verbal communications
- Provide attention to detail and the ability to multitask in an organized manner
- Strive to gain and improve extensive understanding of current events, media, legislative processes at the state and federal level
- Ongoing learning of emerging digital trends to support client objectives Â

- Social channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest and Reddit, as a marketing or advocacy tool
- Meta Business Manager
- LinkedIn Ad Manager
- Twitter Ads
- Google Ad Manager
- Social media channel analytics and metrics
- Google analytics
- MailChimp (or similar email distribution service)
- SproutSocial (or similar social scheduler)
- Cision Social Listening (or similar social listening tool)
- Data-driven and analytical
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to tailor messages for specific and varying audiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, public relations, political science, communications or related field Â
Preferred Qualifications:Â Â
- 7-9 years of full-time work experience in digital advocacyÂ
- Preference to those with political, government, issue advocacy, and agency experienceÂ
- Master’s Degree in political science, political management, business, public relations, communications, or related field
- Google certification
- Familiarity with the following:

- Social media executive thought leadership programming
- SEO and web optimization strategies
- Lead generation strategiesÂ

Pay range dependent upon experience and location: $85,000-105,000Â
